Meeting with Alessio Gradogna
WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 9th, 7.30 p.m.Journalist and film critic, fond of horror, he is the author of the essay "Tokyo Syndrome - Le nuove frontiere dell'horror giapponese" (2006), in collaboration with Fabio Tasso.
For TOHorror Film Fest he will deal with the theme "All Eyes On Me, Please!", talking about the most successful Jap Horror flicks: a rushing phenomenon worldwide.
Meeting with Cristiana Astori, Andrea C. Cappi and Stefano Di Marino
THURSDAY NOVEMBER 10th, 7.30 p.m.Cristiana Astori is an horror and noir writer. In 2006 she published "Il re dei topi e altre favole oscure"; her works also appeared on anthologies.
Andrea C. Cappi is the author of the "Nightshade" saga. Among his most recent works, the essay "Le Grandi Spie" (2010).
Stefano Di Marino published, using an alias, "Il Professionista", the longest italian saga of spy-stories ever issued. Among his several works, the trilogy "Montecristo".
For TOHorror Film Fest Cristiana Astori will present "Tutto Quel Nero", her new novel set in the world of 70's underground cinema. She will dialogue with Cappi and Di Marino about the theme of the glance in the horror-thriller books.
Meeting with Gabriele Mina
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 11th, 7.30 p.m.Gabriele Mina is Professor and researcher in anthropology. He dealed with Mediterranean folklore's rituals, and with the representation of the "different". Among his essays: "Elephant Man. L'eroe della diversità" (2010).
For TOHorror Film Fest he will talk about his studies on the circus of freaks, "monsters" shows which charmed the British Victorian audience.
Meeting with Michele Guaschino
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 12th, 7.30 p.m.Michele Guaschino is a special fx Maestro: he works for directors worldwide, and creates the dummies for the installations of the artist Maurizio Cattelan.
For TOHorror Film Fest he will reveal all the secrets of his most disturbing masterpieces and deal with the fest main theme from the point of view of who creates tricks for the glance.
