THE ORPHAN KILLER by Matt Farnsworth - USA, 2011

Audrey is a ballet teacher in a catholic school, the former orphanage where, in the past, she lived with her brother Marcus, the killer of the movie's title, after their parents' massacre; event which made the young boy violent and unbalanced. Audrey, after the adoption, has succeeded in getting a normal life, while Marcus, who had been left in the orphanage, is now back, and he wants revenge.

The Orphan Killer is inspired by cult slasher movies of the 80s, keeping its own originality both in its form and in its contents. With a taste for blasphemy and a very anarchic mood, it doesn't spare on gruesome and disturbing scenes.
The movie is the creature of the tv actor Matt Farnsworth and it was born on Facebook: with only a few dollars, it was possible to see it on streaming, obtaining a great success.

Robert Morgan is a visionary film-maker, a master in stop-motion animation. His work explores all kinds of nightmares; from horror to grotesque, Morgan's cinema has peaks of pure poetry.

THE CAT WITH HANDS (GB, 2001)

According to a legend, a cat attacks humans and masters the body parts which have been devoured. The short movie mixes animation and sequences with actors.

THE SEPARATION (GB, 2003)
Screening Thursday November 10th-h.10 pm
Two siamese twins get separated by surgery; the trauma will mark them forever. Won a Bafta Wales Award in 2004.

MONSTERS (GB, 2004)
Screening Friday November 11th-h.10.30 pm
Stan, a little boy, finds a duck's head and he starts dreaming about bloody murders. Awarded at Leeds International Film Festival 2005.
