Aperitif with the Circolo Amici della Magia di Torino (Friends of Magic Club of Turin)

From Tuesday 8th to Saturday 12th November, 8.00 p.m

Born in the 60s as a group of enthusiasts, this club formed artists like Marco Berry and Arturo Brachetti. Besides setting up shows and meetings, the Club has an internationally renowned school of magic.
For TOHorror Film Fest, directly from the Club, the following artists will made close-up shows: Davide Brizio (Dave), the magician with four Aces; Stefano Cavanna, ballad singer of legends transformed into magic; Marco Chiornio (Benge), organic and gore-bizzarre magic; Andrea Favarin (Andrew), expert in mind magic; Gaetano Megna (Magogae), magician of the unusual; Emiliano Zanini (Devilson), mentalist and more.

Friday November 11th, 10.00 p.m (+ surprise inroads Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th November)

KIN31 is a trio of performers, born in a project which includes live improvisation theatre, prose and dance. The group is formed by Gloria Fenzi, Francesco Simonetta e Marcella Iovinella.
For TOHorror Film Fest KIN31 will present The Glance, performance wich merges stage acting and direct interaction with the audience.

La Piramide di Sangue

Tuesday November 8th, 11.30 p.m

"Piramide di Sangue" is a psychedelic ensemble. Eight musicians with different backgrounds, a sonic canvas built on various instruments, effects and percussions. The tracks grow on meditative and resteless sounds which remind of Sun Ra and the Art Ensemble of Chicago, ballads with a North African mood and kraut carousels influenced by the Agitation Free and Neu movements.

Devilman (JAP)

Friday November 11th, 12.30 a.m

Coming from Japan but resident in UK, the three members of Devilman explore new dimensions of bass music, with unusual savagery. A sound impossible to be ignored, destructive and exciting. Faithful to their name, taken from the Japanese manga, the Devilman raise the Apocalypse's soundtrack.

Space Aliens from Outer Space

Wormholes, interstellar transmissions….From a supernova's black hole to space's limits, a cosmic message crosses galaxies arriving to Planet Earth, and beyond. Armed with synths and nebular effects, riding the tail of a psychedelic comet, between Ziggy Stardust and John Carpenter, on a 50's sci-fi b-movie's canvas... We come from Outer Space!

Le Pennoire

"Le Pennoire" are a duet of jaunty Piedmontese "djettes": the "culprit" is the TOHorror Film Fest 2009 which made way that Irene (JJ), speaker of Radio Flash, and Barbara (BB), dj in various clubs in Turin, met each other and started an "hair curler mooded" music adventure...

From the collection of the anthropologist Gabriele Mina, a series of portraits of "monsters": photographic reproductions, drawings and posters from Victorian Age, to put the voyeurism of our century to the test.

From Tuesday 8th to Saturday 12th November

Adriano Petrucci, underground artist, put into "zombification" some of the greatest art paintings of all time. This gave birth to the series of six acrylic paintings which translates History of Art into a macabre apocalypse of living deads.

TOHorrorFilmFest 2011: Zombie Night

Zombies from all over Italy, unite!: the closing night of TOHorror Film Fest 2011, held in collaboration with Zombie Knowledge Base, is the first official Zombie Night in Italy!

Zombie FX by Michele Guaschino's students of O.D.S. School

Saturday November 12th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Michele Guaschino's students of O.D.S. School, coordinated by fx/make up artist Loris Roselli, will shape a group of zombies directly in front of us.
At 8 p.m the artists will presents their creatures starving... for human flesh!

Competition "The Best Zombie 2011"

Saturday November 12th, from 8 p.m.

All the living deads who will take part to the closing night of TOHorror Film Fest will enter the competition "The Best Zombie 2011"! The title will be assigned by the special fx Maestro Michele Guaschino and his students. The winner will be awarded from 11 p.m. Show off your scariest make-up: the Best Zombie of The Year could just be you!
